the article analyzes the theoretical and methodological aspects of issues such as the concept, purpose, tasks, and principles of public control. The role and importance of civil society institutions in the implementation of public control is highlighted. Also, the approaches of scientists on public control were analyzed and a definition of authorship was developed.
