Prospects for The Development of Pilgrimage Tourism in Uzbekistan Using Regional Resources

The article analyzes the rich historical and cultural heritage of our country, the mausoleums of dear saints, religious shrines as the basis for increasing the potential of pilgrimage tourism. As an object of the study, issues of effective and rational use of regional resources in the development of pilgrimage tourism in Uzbekistan were considered. The main purpose of the article provides an overview of the distribution of cultural heritage sites by region, the state of the existing infrastructure, the conditions created for foreign and domestic pilgrims. Based on the results of the study, it provides proposal - recommendations for the organization of new pilgrimage routes and the further development of the industry.
