In the context of globalization, textile enterprises in developing countries face increasing competitive pressures to move beyond low-cost production toward higher-value export growth. Uzbekistan's textile industry, despite having abundant raw materials and a young workforce, remains concentrated in low-value exports with limited branding and innovation capacity. There is an absence of integrated strategic models that align innovation, supply chain efficiency, international certification, market intelligence, and branding to improve export competitiveness in emerging textile economies. This study aims to develop a comprehensive export competitiveness model for textile enterprises, drawing on global best practices, comparative country analysis, and expert insights to guide sustainable industry upgrading. The proposed model emphasizes five components: innovation and R&D for product differentiation; supply chain optimization for efficiency; international standards compliance for market access; market intelligence for strategic decisions; and branding for customer loyalty and global visibility. Comparative analysis with Bangladesh, Vietnam, Turkey, and India highlighted actionable lessons such as cluster development, FDI integration, and eco-friendly innovation. This research presents an integrated, validated strategic framework adapted to the Uzbek context, combining theoretical foundations with practical pathways for transitioning from raw material exports to high-value branded products. Implementation of this model can double export volumes within five years, increase local value addition to 75%, and strengthen Uzbekistan’s global textile position. The model serves as a roadmap for policymakers and enterprises seeking to enhance competitiveness, employment, and sustainable economic growth through export-driven industrial development.
