Abstract

This article discusses the conceptual and figurative components of the concept of "friendship" in Korean proverbs. The structural types of proverbs are also analyzed, which allows to reveal the essence of the relationship between the subjects indicated in it, to better understand the meaning of the proverbs. The centuries-old cultural experience of the people is reflected in the articles. If we look at the folklore genre of the Korean people, proverbs that have been passed down from generation to generation still hold a special place among Koreans. The concept of "friendship" that we are going to discuss in this article is one of the concepts available in these languages.
