The Impact of Internet Communications on Public Opinion in the Digital Society

This article examines the impact of formal and informal Internet communications on public opinion in the digital society. At the same time, the importance of information received by people from the global Internet network in the digital society has been revealed. The article also covers the reasons for the decrease in the capacity of information computer system, the increase in the number of websites with different content, the increase in the relevance of the problem of information extremism in Internet networks. In addition, according to its content, purpose and directions, the structure of a complex of information in which there are signs of carrying out destructive activities, the psychological influence of information on a person through a computer network, information that destructively affects the human psyche, the cases of using information from which they do not understand the content in articles on the Internet.
