Abstract

Foreign direct investment is one of the important topics in economics, and it is an important tool to raise the level of economic activity and then achieve development, and that foreign direct investment isconsidered to have low costs if compared to foreign loans, and the importance of foreign direct investment has emerged Its importance at the beginning of the second half of the twentieth century accompanied by the emergence of economic globalization, which was characterized by opening markets, removing various restrictions and barriers, and increasing international trade, and foreign direct investment plays a major role in penetrating international markets and then competing with global goods, so most economies want to maximize their foreign investments in order to access global markets. Competitiveness also has a major role in the development of local products so that local goods are able to reach the global market and compete with various global goods.
