Abstract

The article highlights a brief history of the emergence of orchestras of Uzbek folk instruments in the Syrdarya region at the Gulistan University of the Department of Musical Education, the College of Arts and the School of Music and Arts, their active concert activity in many cities of the republic, the participation of orchestras in republican and international competitions. The article notes the creative achievements of folk instrument orchestras and a list of the most active participants in different years, which served as the basis for these groups.
