Both religion and psychotherapy (psychology) deal with the human spirit, helping him to understand his life and overcome difficult situations. Clearly, there is some connection and involvement between psychology and religion. If we take the plane of attitude towards ourselves, then psychology allows a person to feel the value of their desires and experiences, no matter what they are. Psychology has taught man to respect his feelings and desires, to deny them or to try to fight them, which leads to disease. Also, believing in emotions, accepting them, and following them helps in harmony, self-expression, and development.
