Abstract

The current research aims to clarify the role of the quality function deployment technique in costs reduce of the health service by identifying the components and functions that do not add value for customer and company, and working to get rid of the unnecessary costs associated with them, as well as clarifying the role of this technology in improving the value of customers from by providing products and services consistent with the needs of customers with regard to low competitive price and high quality, the current research presents the theoretical framework of the quality function deployment technique in terms of concepts, importance, principles and phases of application in economic units in addition to presents the importance of this technology in both reducing unnecessary and unjustified cost and improve customer value, The current research applied in Al-Diwaniyah Teaching Hospital for the data of the year ending on 31/12/2021 . The research concluded that there is a possibility to apply the technique of spreading the quality function in the hospital, the research sample and benefiting from it in costs reduce of the health service and improving customer value.
