Spiritual Support and its Role in Improving Job Performance under Coronavirus Pandemic: An Applied Study on a Sample of Tourism Companies

Abstract

The current study aimed at revealing the nature of the role of spiritual support in improving the performance of its dimensions (effort, capabilities, and realization of role) in the light of the coronavirus pandemic by adopting a practical method to measure the availability of study variables with tourist companies (Ahbab Abul-Qassem Company, Al-Hetem Company and Al-Aoushir Company). The study tries to address a real problem reflected in bridging the gap between the spiritual support issues and the Job Performance of the tourist companies, as the researcher randomly distributed 200 questionnaire forms among a sample of the workers, and the number of valid forms was 186, a response rate of 93%, and was analyzed using the advanced statistical program The study also highlights how spiritual support by management of tourism companies can be improved for career performance, and summarized a series of conclusions, the most prominent of which is that critical events facing contemporary organizations due to rapid changes in the environment make it imperative to adopt a modern pattern of behavior (spiritual support). Is able to keep pace with these changes and understand the events that result from them, and work to raise subordinates' low performance levels to challenge, motivate and initiative.
