Abstract

This article focuses on the proper use of strumming patterns in the performance of the dutar. The article answers a number of questions, such as what a strumming pattern is, how to study and teach it, how to divide bars into groups, what to look for when beating a piece of music, and more. The article also provides tips for students and teachers to learn the strumming patterns correctly. The article also provides information on the quality of sound on the dutar and the opinions of leading teachers. The dutar is a two-stringed instrument that may seem easy to play from the outside, but it is very difficult to be a good dutar player. In the performance of other stringed instruments, the skill of the left hand is assessed, while in the performance of the dutar, the skill of the left and right hands must be the same (right hand skill is plucking) and the performer is evaluated accordingly. . Dutar exercises should be performed on the right and left hands at the same time. It is wrong to practice only the right hand or the left hand.

Talent and hard work are the key to a student becoming a good performer. It is only when teachers organize this work process that students will be able to rise to the top. The strumming patterns given in the article are intended for dutar prima, dutar second, dutar alt and dutar tenor instruments, and the given bars can be easily used in the performance of these instruments.

I hope you find this article useful and informative.
